Flood relief - Pakpur-Noorghazi Project

Sheraz is on the board of the Pakpur Foundation, a non-profit organisation helping under-privilege communities.

The 2010 floods devastated Pakistan and many were left homeless. In support of the flood victims, Pakpur initiated the Pakpur-Noorghazi project. The foundation created the Noor Ghazi Village, a 100 homes community with shops, medical facilities, a school, a park, a vocational training institute for women, livestock as a source of livelihood, and installed a clean drinking water plant.

The government took notice of this initiative and replicated these model homes to re-home other flood victims.
